MATGUARD® surface cleaners are effective against a broad spectrum of germs and viruses including MRSA, Hepatitis, Staph, E-Coli and 99.9% of all harmful bacteria.  The emulsifier in the MATGUARD® formula acts to slow the evaporation rate of the alcohol, allowing it to act directly on various pathogens to break down their cell walls and denature the cell completely.
